Help..Can not turn off pvp flag

Simple problem ; I can not turn off my pvp flag, no matter what I do, the Horde pvp icon always appears, and I confirmed my pvp status is on

-I tried to turn it off by right click my character above, then choose disable pvp, doesn't work. Usually I will get a count down for 5m above the Horde icon, but I can't get it now.
-But I will get a message says that my pvp is off. So I waited for 20m, then go out, get attacked by other players
-tried to logout, completely restart the game, no effect
-tried to contact in game GM, well, I waited for 2 hours with no reply so I am posting here.
-Did newly install addons, no automatic updating addons

What should I do?

If you have any quests in your log that are for PvP activities (like capturing towers, etc), then you will stay flagged for PvP until you either complete (and turn in) the quests, or abandon the quests. Then your 5 minute timer will start for the unflagging.

Aarschott is correct! If you have an active PvP quest in your log, then you will no longer unflag for PvP until either the quest is complete, or it is abandoned from your quest log.
