... in regards to arena? (I will keep my post short)

Now I know I will get tons of people saying that paladins are OP (due ONLY to their burst damage) but the reality of the situation is that as soon as we all have gladiator gear, with 25k health and maxed resilience, ret paladins will once again be TERRIBLE in pvp.

Our burst will once again mean nothing, as their is no way we will be able to prevent opponents from healing, kiting, or CCing us into uselessness.

fact of the matter is that a ret paladin has and ONLY has raw damage. No interrupt, no snare, no fear, no gap closure, no mana drain, no viable special pvp combat ability.

I see that you are addressing hunter and warlock concerns in arena, yet are not addressing paladin concerns. Please allow me to remind you that paladins with hunters had the LOWEST representation in the higher brackets per capita. They were also like 1-2 paladins in ALLL the professional tournaments (3v3 mostly) that were held.

I, and others with the ability of forsight, do not see what has changed from then till now. While other classes recieved MORE special combat abilities (warlock blinks, knockbacks, hex, cc etc) paladins have again recieved nothing in the xpac.

We continue to rely on our raw damage done in arena/pvp and again this will mean nothing with the advent of new and better arena gear.

We said before that if toning down Ret burst made them no longer very good at Arenas that we would be willing to give them additional utility. We just don't think the proverbial writing on the wall is that clear yet. We'll know a lot more in a few weeks.
