He is saying the buggy talent is what made assassination viable in PvE. With the bug fixed the tree no longer provides viable raid DPS. I'm not mutilate so I can't speak to whether the damage actually dropped or not. If it has this is an issue as Blizzard has stated that assassination is meant to be the new dominant Rogue PvE tree.[/quote]

GC said that the new pve raid spec was assassination, and that it was out performing combat . They were fine with this. Since at least rogue had one viable raid spec before raiding began.

HOWEVER
The truth no one at Blizzard can deny.

TIll today a major bug was discovered that gave assassination 12% more crit was discovered. Meaning that while the numbers were being crunch for raid spec mutilate rogues, they calculated and balance around rogues having 12% crit they no longer have. Meaning assassination rogues were design in Wotlk with the assume 12% crit increase they don't really have.

BLIZZ HOTFIX this issue. Either give rogues a passive 15% buff increase now or the ROGUE CLASS as dps is in danger of putting up dps sub par (this is exactly what real pve raid numbers tell us) So those rogues who were always #1 will now be at best #5

Look men lie, women lie, people in general lie, but the numbers don't.

Blizzard decide when testing our class that we were outputing sufficient dps, however I'm afraid a bug to one of our talents that went unaware till a couple days ago hinder there testing. So when they assume we were doing enough dps as assassination they stop there and decide ok why bother fixing combat when assassination is could be the new raid spec.

However assassination is no better then combat, and being combat just isn't enough to get us close to the top of the dps meters.

All you rogue who claim I'm doing great dps in my raid, compare yourself to top dps worldwide and you fail falling below # 1 guarentee.

We are taking a hard look at rogue PvE performance right now.

We don't think fixing the Master Poisoner bug is cause to give rogues a huge buff however. The issue is a little more complex than it is being portrayed in this thread.
