went holy cause we were short on healers for nax25...I feel a bit worthless compared to our priest/shaman/druid. My healing is consistantly 8%+ below theirs (have meters from Grob-Saph so far) and I can't seem to do much about it. Keeping BoL up and using HL as much as possible but it's tough to make it worth the while with the amount of AoE healing flying around.

I've healed heroics without a problem (haven't healed nax10, been tankin it since it's my main spec) but it's just depressing to see my healing numbers so far behind others even though I'm doing everything in my power to ramp it up : /

I think it's a bit premature to declare that Holy paladins (or any healer really) can't keep up. In situations where a paladin can really benefit from Beacon, it may in fact be hard for others to keep up, but that won't be every fight.

If you look at the guilds who are doing the (current) end game content, they are using a lot of Holy pallys and those guys never seem to run out of mana. So presumably there are plenty of situations where they really shine.
