Where do we go from here?

I know it's early, WOTLK was just released, but I had a question to ask even though I'm certain I won't get a solid answer on.

First off Blizz has done a wonderful job with the last two expansions. Great new content, new aspects to the game, and about all of the big issues that gamers have complained about have been addressed to some extent. Thank you, it's nice to know a company actually listens to it's fan base.

The question is where is the next realm that WoW can take on? We've conquered outland, and northrend is under seige, where would the next expansion take place or consist of?

When WoW came out we always figured that there would be at some point ventures into outland and northrend because they already existed in Warcraft Lore from previous games.

However, I feel WoW has caught up to where it should be in terms of storyline. What is the next step to develop the game after this?

I know Blizz has ideas in the works, you take a long time to develop content so I know that you've already started talking about where to go, so spill the beans!

I'm hoping the answer is that a release of Warcraft 4 is in the works that will set the table for more storyline that will be followed up with in an expansion for WoW.....but I won't hold my breath.

Apparently, I'm in a musical mood today because a song from Evita popped in my head.

We go forward. Ever forward and we're pretty excited about the continuing possibilities for development. As you can see from Wrath, we continue to push to see what more we can do, and that isn't going to end with this expansion.

Q u o t e:
Forward is code for the Emerald Dream, right?

And sideways and slantways and longways and backways... and squareways and front ways and any other ways that you can think of.

In short we could go any ways. :)

So, any direction we head, we'll run into the Emerald Dream? That's how I understood that statement.

Perhaps someday but no matter which way we go, we will get to the next place we want to be. ;)
