if people are offended by swearing, and report people for it why are there language filters. Take them off, make them mandatory, do something. I see no reason that people have language filters off and yet they report people for swearing. On the occurance of someone reporting GM's should acknowledge that a person had language filter OFF OR ON, showing that someone is mature enough to hear adult language.

/endrant

/kill immature childs who think poo poo is a swear

The language filter does not create an absolute barrier between the observer, and the person who chooses to disregard the ESRB rating of the game as well as our harassment policy. Those that choose to leave the filter off will more frequently be subjected to language they feel is offensive. Those that choose to use such language are subject to the conditions of our support policies.

By passing it deliberatly is differant but I thought you based your society on the premis of Free Speach.
Free speach is not, you have the right to say something so long as you use words that i like.

This is always a fascinating stance.

You have every right to say whatever you want to (almost). We, however, recognize that some parents may want to know what their children are getting into. It is for this reason that the ESRB functions to assess the content in video games. It is for this reason we reserve the right to remove you from our realms if we feel you are breaching the ESRB rating and the rules to which you agreed before ever logging into your account.

Free speech actually doesn't grant you the right to say whatever you want without limits anywhere at any time.

Did you come up with that answer all on your own, or did the company attorneys tell you?

That was me... though I'd give logic and experience a little credit.
