Q u o t e:
I am disputing this offense made against my account, i am unsure where the Naming Policy Violation comes from but i assume it is pertaining to the /stand emote being used multiple times. This I believe has been a large misunderstanding, I use the emote /stand in numerous casting macros i have on my character such as
/stand
/stopcasting
/cast Frostbolt
/stand
/stopcasting
/cast Blink
/stand
/stopcasting
/cast Polymorph
I use this so i can quickly get up and begin casting as you cannot cast a spell from a sitting position, for as a mage i am constantly sitting drinking water and constantly having to move to get up and cast is very bothersome it also effects whether i can cast at all because i cannot cast spells with a cast time while moving, so i did this to only optimize my gaming experience. I was not purposefully trying to harass any individual as /stand does not even appear in the chat logs. If there was the threat of policy violation I wish an in game GM would have warned me so that i could have changed my behavior accordingly.
I have used these macros for months now and I have received no in game behavior warnings, is this some sort of fluke?
Also should I remove /stand from my existing casting macros?
I hope this information can help resolve this issue, i also remind you that i am disputing this action made against my account, and i would also appreciate feedback to the questions provided above.
