After the update, cannot use any abilities

Abilities do not go off, and some show “Cooldown remaining: 13 days”: https://i.imgur.com/SNckdAg.png

Tried 72 character, created a new templated DK and a level 1 warlock, all with the same issue

Edit: deleted Cache, WTF folders. Scan & Repaired the game, nobody in-game reported a similar issue. Windows 10. Had multiple crashes after the servers came back up with a DIVIDE_BY_ZERO exception.

Edit2: fully reinstalling the game did not work, but playing the beta on a different computer did. Reinstall involved fully deleting the _classic_beta_ and Data/data/wow_classic_beta-us folders

Edit3: the issue resolves itself by restarting the computer, hope that helps others having it

Confirmed – this is a bug that the dev team has been able to reproduce internally, and they’re working on a fix.

Wanted to reply on this and give a bit more context and a potential workaround while we close in on a full fix for this.

If you do encounter this issue a full system shutdown and restart should temporarily resolve this. We believe that this is related to your PC system time and a full restart (i.e. one that resets your system boot time*) should work as a temporary workaround.

We hope to have a full fix in place as soon as we can for this. Really appreciate all of the reports and help we’ve gotten from players so far to identify and reproduce this bug!

We’ll be making an update to release notes shortly and we’ll be sure to add this to the known issues list for the time being.

*Extra Note: If a restart does not resolve this, you may need to disable the “Turn on fast startup” option in your Windows system settings. You can find this in your Windows Control Panel; Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\System Settings. We don’t recommend you manipulate these settings if you are not comfortable doing so, and we do very much hope to have a full fix in place for this soon. Thanks!
