Racial Harmony - Blue Tracker

A simple request: Can we please get a guarantee that the current racials are here to stay?

In three days something will happen that's never happened before: 95(+?)% of your userbase will be rolling a Death Knight of any race of their choosing with advanced knowledge of the game.

I will be choosing mine based strictly upon racial ability strength, as I know a lot of others will be. I will be *very* angry if Blizzard comes along in a month or two and says "Oops, our bad! We didn't realize X was so awesome, but hey, we're giving Y racial an immunity effect for Z race! Sorry!".

Since release the racials have been more or less constant, with only a few small changes to the Undead based on WOTF. Now you've come in with sweeping changes to almost all races and we need to know they have been tested and are permanent.

No, I don't give a flying murloc how my character's butt looks. I have many 70s and oodles of alts. I've played every class and every race and sex and I don't give a darn about what piece of pixelated flesh is underneath my "Full Plate of Skin Covering" when I hit 80. All that matters is strength.

I'm still deciding though I think for Alliance side it will be human. Horde side I am still deciding.

I have never chosen a race based on their racials. I know that some will think that's not wise, but I've sure had fun nevertheless. ;)

Do you view choosing based upon racials as unwise? Some are very, very strong. Take Shadowmeld, I have a 70 Druid I retired but I feel almost obliged to play due to how amazing Shadowmeld is now.

Pull too many? Oops, no biggie, Shadowmeld. Need to pass the boss to another tank? Shadowmeld. About the die? Shadowmeld. Need to leave combat to eat/drink? Shadowmeld.

I'd love to pick my race based upon lore or looks but you're making it hard...

I pick based on lore, the type of character I can get into and enjoy, or sometimes because I'm looking to step out of my normal routine. Some I like more than others for no particular reason other than I don't feel connected to them.
