GL finding a tank instancing to 80 in WOTLK

Basically zero tanking gear in any of the instances. A few pieces from quests but almost ALL of the drops are dps. Thanks for yet again shafting tanks on loot!

You should talk to a blacksmith, that gear is sufficient for the early dungeons and there is definitely gear to get from quests and higher levels to keep instance grinding viable. Also your current level 70 tanking gear could work for the very early dungeons depending on the quality.

Yes if someone in T6 resockets for defense then thier gear would band-aid them into 80 dungeons. The problem people are saying is as far as tanking gear is concerned there is hardly NO tanking gear to bridge the gap between regular dungeons onto heroics/Naxx10 that is available from dungeons..so tanks aren't going to want to run them often.


I don't know what loot tables you are looking at, but I have definitely seen gear from quests and dungeons that is sufficient to replace current gear and allow you to get into level 80 dungeons then heroics, then Naxxramas raids. The blacksmithing gear on top of that is just another source of gear.
