CoH/WG yet another solution

We must be annoying the heck out of GC because we are beating this topic like a dead murloc, but like many of you I just wanna voice my opinion. I both agree and disagree with what GC is saying, CoH and WG are spammed too much, I do not believe a cool down is the right solution for this though.

The reason being is that say players around target A and target B take AOE damage, without the cooldown I can switch betweeen those two target and put some CoHs out so that other healers can finish topping them off. CoH also is the only heal priests get (aside from Renew and PoM) that allows us to keep moving. WG follows basically the same idea though most druids mainly use their HoTs as their main healing tools keeping them mobile.

Now the solution I see for the priest side of the issue is Prayer of Healing, from what I can estimate CoH heals for roughly 40% of what PoH heals, so it takes 3 CoHs to match 1 PoH, this costs ~1500 mana to do while 1 PoH costs ~1000 mana with two points in Healing Prayers. So I suggest giving Prayer of Healing the same raid wide 5 player smart heal, as well as slightly nerfing the amount healed by CoH, like say between 30-35% of what PoH heals for. This would keep CoH a good heal for helping keep players alive to receive those big heals, but at the same time make priest shy away from it due to it being less efficient then PoH.

Now I don't play a druid healer, but I think I may have a solution to WG that does not include a CD either. WG is a HoT, HoTs are not meant to be spammed yet druids feel the need to do so with WG because the largest amount of the healing is done in the first few tics. I think the simple solution would to be to lengthen WG's duration by one or two tics without changing the amount healed in total, this would make druids want to wait a little longer before casting it a second time, while at the same time it does not loose raid value by being forced to wait for the cooldown to heal other raid members in a different area.

I hope you all can agree with this solution, I personally don't want to see a cooldown on either but if there is no other way please keep it around 5 seconds at the most.

I don't mind if you discuss the topic. That is in fact why I brought it up. It's a topic that clearly causes a lot of anxiety for priests and druids.

It would be nice if there were fewer threads on the same issue, but even that we can live with.

The one thing I do ask is to actually read what I write. So many posters seem to get angry or alarmed by the thought in general and then go on a posting rampage. Shaman QQ didn't cause this. Farming Sunwell at 70 on live didn't cause this. I just hate having to repeat myself so much because that takes time away from being able to respond to different thoughts on the same basic issue, or different healing concerns entirely. :(
