Lost Companions/Vanity Pets

When we lose/delete limited companions/vanity pets (like the CE ones or Tyrael's Hilt), the stable masters are supposed to offer you a replacement. I was lucky-enough to get Tyrael's Hilt and after Patch 3, it became "account bound," so I could mail it to all my characters to "learn."

The Hilt itself is currently on an alt, but it occurs to me that maybe I want a physical copy on my main (a hunter). I go to the stable master and he doesn't offer to give it, or any other limited companion I've learned, back to me. I figure, maybe that's because the one physical copy is on an alt. The thing is, he doesn't offer to return the CE pets I've already learned, on that character or any other.

CE pets I can always get by creating a new character, but regarding Tyrael, how do I test this without deleting my physical copy (and thus risk being unable to give it to future chars)? After rude, vile responses in the general channel, one person suggested CS forums. So CMs/players in the know, is it possible to get my physical Tyrael's Hilt on more than one character? People say they can get their lost pets back, but none of the CE/Quest Reward ones are being offered, even after their summoning "items" have been physically destroyed (some of the items remained after being "learned").

Thanks!

Never stopped using the authenticator...........

And sorry for being a Necro. I searched for lost companions, and this is where it brought me.

It is usually best to start a new thread if the one you find is more than a few days old. :)

In either case though Teufelgott is correct. Please submit an in-game petition if you haven't done so already and report that you are missing those pet's on this character. Our In-Game Support staff should be able to verify ownership of those pets and restore them to this character.

Our current queue times are a bit longer than normal so make sure you leave your petition open and someone will be with you as soon as possible.
