PCNC Update and Information Request

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen—

At present, we believe (and hope) to have cleared the majority of pending PCNC requests initiated within the last 20 days. With that said, we do not wish to close this issue should there still be cases outstanding or ones which require further, personal attention.

If your transaction remains uncancelled at this point in time, please include the following information:

    Name and realm of the character
    Date your transaction was initiated
    Additional information as necessary


With this, we also understand that many cancelled requests still charged the listed payment method and wish to alleviate this fee by providing each target character the ability to change its name in-game. To do so, we'll need your assistance and the following information:

    Name and realm of the character
    Date your transaction was initiated
    Date your transaction was cancelled (to the best of your knowledge)
    Confirmation that your payment was charged
    Whether or not you still wish the target character to receive an in-game name change at this time

Date: Dont know forsure probably since 25th or 26th.
Date was Cancelled: Not Cancelled yet.
Confirmation: *Visa has been charged*
And ofc I would like to receive an in-game name change still, thats what I paid the 10$ for

Please fix my character.


The information you've provided is only asked is the transaction has been completed.

That said, you have not included the realm. Please do. :)

Good morning, everyone.

I see that a number of you are receiving processing errors when you attempt to finalize your transaction. I understand that this is preventing you from completing the name change, but the information we really need to know is whether or not your character is currently stuck within the name change process.

If your character is inaccessible because you are unable to cancel your pending name change, please be sure to make specific mention of this when posting.

While we look further into the processing errors a number of you are receiving, we request that you try the following workarounds to see if you are able to successfully finalize your Paid Character Transfers and Name Changes. We have received mixed reports that performing one (or all) of the following workarounds has allowed players to bypass this error message. Please try the following:


I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused you all and hope that one of the above methods allows you to complete the transfer. I’ll do what I can to gather more information to help those of you still unable to finalize your transfer.
