Q u o t e:
You have ignored the Fan of Knives dagger/damage issues.
- Fan of Knives still uses weapon damage, despite you saying you were going to make it work with all weapons. And it still does not hit hard enough even with non-daggers.
You have nerfed rogue dodge with your tank changes and given nothing to compensate.
- 15% dodge at level 80? How exactly is that the primary rogue damage reduction stat??
You have ignored the Killing Spree issues.
- It still has weird targeting issues, and is not normalised for daggers. It also does not seem to properly account for your AP.
Vanish still fails constantly (and no, it is not lag).
- When someone knocks you out of vanish with a 3 second cast, when mobs continue to melee you, and when it fails in an empty room, it is considered bugged.
Cloak of Shadows is now bugged and failing a lot, on top of the cooldown nerf.
- Go and test cloak on live, right now. Watch as you are dotted, feared, novaed, poisoned, and moonfired right through it.
- Why was the cooldown nerfed, when you want ALL builds to be PvP viable? You expect every single PvP rogue to take Elusiveness?
Rogue mobility was nerfed, even though it is their PvP lifeblood.
- Shadowstep nerf was completely unnecessary. It was already inferior to Intercept, and now it is inferior to what Druids, perhaps the most mobile class, have. Why are rogues the least mobile melee class?
- Rogues need to be given some form of baseline mobility to compete with the plethora of kiting and anti-melee skills that are present in WotLK. What good is the ability to get to your target every 30 seconds, when a DK will grip you away every 25?
- The Glyph of Sprint was made completely useless, when it was the only thing combat pvp had.
You have removed hemo from the list of 'allowable main attacks' despite it being a main attack for 4 years.
- You have classed hemo as a 'debuff only attack' which means it cannot ever be used because of energy, talent and weapon-type limitations.
You have done nothing to ease the burden of Hunger for Blood in PvE, and have killed its viability in PvP.
- It is just like the old rampage, which you stated was very un-fun and needed a change.
- It adds nothing to PvP, and takes away a huge amount.
You have killed all rogue PvP builds other than ONE, Mutilate/Prep, despite the fact that you stated you wanted all trees viable.
- Mutilate is the only build doing enough damage in PvP, and which does not suffer from positional lag, etc. Prep is also needed thanks to the massive mobility and survivability nerf, along with the boost to other classes.
You have left Subtlety unfinished, and have stated it will most likely stay this way until after launch.
- I thought all three trees were supposed to be viable? Why are rogues shafted on this?
- Subtlety was fixed ONE YEAR after TBC release last time this happened. Should we expect this again?
You have given rogues no viable raid utility to make up for the increased damage of hybrids.
- Expose Armour is far more expensive than Sunder.
- Tricks of the Trade is poorly designed. It lacks range, it costs energy, and it gives meaningless threat. Was this ability designed before you made it so tanks have ridiculous threat levels, and before all tanks were given viable AoE tanking?
- Wound and Mind Numbing (I still cannot believe you said these were major raid utility) have little to no use in raids, and lower rogue damage.
You have not even taken into account what the increased hybrid damage does to PvP.
- How are rogues supposed to compete when hybrids are doing close to their damage, and bring so much more?
Stealth itself is weak, and seems to have been nerfed in 3.0
- Stealth within 15 yards of an archer in AV, without MoD, and tell me what happens. Also sap a target, with MoD, and watch as he targets you, and keeps you targeted.
- Rogue Stealth is also inferior to Druid Stealth. Why is this?
Yeah, I am a bit irritated, and these things have been bugging me for a long time.
