Hello Bornakk,

I love the idea of giving an alternate place to collaborate and discuss, but my concern is with the newcomers to either a class or spec. When I first started, Lissanna's Druid FAQ was more helpful than I could put in words. It saved me potentially hundreds of gold in respec costs, countless time changing gear, and many headaches in trying to figure out the more complex pieces of the class.

In short - why are we losing our individual class forums? These are an amazing resource for many..

With the launch of the Echoes of Doom patch and (soon) Wrath of the Lich King there have been a lot of changes to class structure, talents, spells, etc. which leaves a lot of old guides outdated. The forums are still there to copy any necessary information, but now is a great time to update guides!

As guides get updated and re-posted in the new focused forums we can sticky them and build up a new set of updated guides.

Man these guys are gonna LOVE all the different Druid guides....

Hybrid FTW!!!

The guides will probably have to be changed to focus on either the tanking, healing, or damaging dealing aspect of the class, but I'm sure there will be a number of them and we'll continue to organize them in the best way possible.

So, we should begin Copy + Pasting the new Guides over to this forum now? I know there are quite a few Stickies that were written by players who no longer visit the forums.

So they need to be updated.. that's kind of the idea. :)

Please look at this sticky from the Druid Forums: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=7369889912&sid=1 .

If you're unable to check links, it's titled "New Druid FAQ (6/30/08)".

Where exactly would this type of guide fall, or how in the world could we break it up?

Sounds like a challenge to the writer...
