Paladin compensation

All three paladin specs will never agree on what to put here. Retribution needs a distance closer, low cool down interrupt, and/or snare. Protection needs a single target taunt. Holy has absolutely nothing to do when not healing except for a 60 second hammer of justice, lacks any sort of aoe healing, and has no heal over time effect.


Paladins lack baseline abilities given to other tanks, healers, and melee dps. If the specs don't have anything to compensate for these abilities (ie burst damage, premier aoe tank, etc) they flat out need to be given access to these abilities (i.e. distance closer, single target taunt, aoe healing). Right now they are cheap knockoffs of melee dps, tanks, and healers.
