Ill admit i was a little more than PO at how my class was handeled of late, i will find another game if i am treated the way i was in the last expansion.

However, It shows integrity that you have, with others, made this forum, its not even possible to keep up with the pali forum let alone go to all the others. Thank you for that.

So that aside

I do not want to be OP, but i do want to be able to drop a less skilled similarly geared toon of another class. I do think it fair that all classes have (one anti class) not 5 or 6.

1. I hope its not true that Dev's are powering thier toons at the sake of others.

2. That you nurfed me for the sake of a bigger picture and will be bringng others in line with me to achive overall balance

3. That the balance is static, and dos'nt take a year to even give me minimal improvement as in the past.

4. That im not being misled as in the past just to get 15 bucks a month.

5. That i be needed and viable so long as i have the skill.....................

there is so much more, i looked at the forums last night for even one post from you to reassure me that you were not carless and that you care for my class the same as any other.

All the reasons i was nurfed were hard to swallow as everything that was said to me, about my toon was true of all the other classes, i was killed once by a mage 3 levels lower than myself......... talk about op, so when i saw you post tonight on mages i was heartened.......

Im in to see what goes on, when i was closer than you could imagine to just quitting the game. I got your back after this forum creation and the posts tonight. All i ask is to not be made cannon fodder and the low man left out

tks

*Edited for some spelling after a blue responce i never exspected*

We LOVE Ret paladins. Seriously. We made a ton of changes to the spec that we wouldn't have done if we didn't care what happened to the class. When we did Naxx tests and people brought Ret paladins, it was great. Even before they became overpowered, there were several posts by Ret pallies saying how they liked the changes to their class (so I don't think it was just an issue that they were rolling over everyone that made them fun).

Sadly, you were overpowered by a considerable margin in both PvE and PvP. That was our fault (mine really) and not anything the community did. Most Ret pallies actually seem to agree they were OP and only argue with the magnitude of the nerfs.

Of course not. Why would we risk a franchise with eleven million active players for something so selfish? That would be really, really dumb. Besides, if you read the forums, we have never played any of the classes anyway. :)

Ret was not the only OP class. We made changes to Frost mages and all hunters at the same time. There are still a few classes that may be OP still. They probably know who they are.

We made a lot of changes to the game for LK, and we owe it to the players who have stuck with their characters for so many years to quickly address things if they feel off.

I'm not the business guy here, but I don't think the game has the following it has because we somehow manage to decieve large portions of our customer base. I think it's because the game is fun.

That is exactly the plan.

Yes, it is great that we basically have the "Ask GC a Question" forums, but will he follow through other than the redundant "Well look into it" response?

Sorry, I'm not going to answer every question with an "Okay, we'll buff it" response. If I have announcements to make on changes to classes, I will usually make them obvious. I'm not waiting for just the right question before I unleash them upon you.

I am surprised that anyone would be surprised that 99% of our answers are going to be:

-- We're happy with the way it is.
-- We're keeping an eye on it.
-- We need more information still.
-- We want to fix it, but we're not sure how yet.
-- We want to fix it, and we know how, but the implementation will take some time.

If all of those things are false, then one of two things are true:

-- We agree it's a problem and already fixed it (in which case I would have already told you)
-- This is new information and seems really bad so we'll offer to make a change right away. This does happen, but it is -- by far-- going to be the exception. If you are expecting to see these kind of answers a lot, you're going to be disappointed a lot.
