Less gameplay but the price remains the same

I always understood technical difficulties that this game encountered, it is a big game, god knows how many lines of code to check, etc. But since these kind of problems won't stop, my patience and understanding is coming to an end.
Since this game is not free, it will be polite if Blizzard would at least pay back those inconvenient server shutdowns and restarts with maybe one or two day extended free game play.
We aren't talking about few minutes interruptions of the game, which can be understandable, but we are talking about hours that added together are forming days of unavailable game play outside the Tuesday regular maintainance.
Shutdowns and restarts are justified with "tank you for you understanding...", what I'm understanding is that I am paying the same amount of price but getting less service.
All this problems are affecting the gameplay, trying to do arena with a bad latency that adds times where the servers are down it's not helping. Time is running out because the expansion on the 13th of November will reset all the pvp honor score, and I'm not willing to loose weeks of hard work where I managed to collect all those arena points.
I will be glad to receive an answer from a blue, thank you very much!
