Deleting the countless posts that say these class forums are a bad idea doesn't make the feeling go away.

Very constructive work you guys are up to today. Bad news--people aren't that dumb. Just because you guys can make the negative topics go away doesn't mean that people are going to come in and say "oh wow, no one's bashing this! It MUST be a good idea!"

These forums are going to hell in a handbasket, very, very soon.

There is an open post on the General forums for people to voice their concerns over the forum change should they wish. Creating multiple threads on the topic only fragments the discussion and isn't productive.
