Burdens I played about 5 games then I stopped, got tired of getting facerolled 99% of the time without going up against any players with equal decks. Alas, another Blizzard game that has atrocious matchmaking.
One bit of advice is to ensure you're choosing Casual while in Play mode. It's the option that will match you with others based on a matchmaking rating. Playing in Ranked will put you up against another person of your
rank, who may or may not actually be evenly matched with you if they're old pros but haven't played in a while.
I recommend giving different classes a try, everyone meshes with different classes, and finds their niche. Another game mode to keep in mind is you get your first Arena run for free (you have to unlock Arena mode), but it's essentially a draft, so everyone has an equal chance to build an awesome deck to play with based on the cards presented, and not the ones they themselves already own. It removes that feeling that maybe they just own more cards than you, and it also gives better rewards the more wins you get.
I always recommend my friends start in Practice mode though, try out a bunch of classes (or all of them), and then go to Play mode and choose Casual for some fun matchmade games.
