The issue is being looked into; my apologies for any delayed responses.

I've been observing the issue and attempting to verify it; however, I've not as of yet verified an issue. We continue to investigate.

More information when available.

Okay folks.

I've had a number of people test the issue, and we've all received e-mails from the "Restore Password" option.

As such, the system does appear to be working.

If you're not receiving our e-mails it's one of three things:

1). You need to check your e-mail address's spam filters.
2). You're not checking the registered e-mail address.
3). Your registered e-mail address has been changed some how.

I've not been able to verify any issues with the service. =/

Thanks for looking so quick, but you may be missing it.

Just trying to sort out the possible issues.

I don't know why some folks would receive an error, but others are not.

Have you tried clearing your cache/cookies? Tried a different browser?

I sincerely hope you're not serious....

Eh?

Do you not want me to investigate the situation?

Ah.

It seems there was a confusion in regards to my choice of quote.

If you have all of the information to access the account (minus the password) and it is your account, you're not going to lose it forever.

I'm simply investigating the situation and looking into reasons why you wouldn't receive the e-mails.

Okay folks.

If you could provide me the name and realm of a character on the affected account, I'm going to take a look.

Interesting.

Are all of you using AIM/AOL e-mail addresses?

Not sure what the issue is at this point; it's possible that it's related to various e-mail service providers. I've only seen a couple being used here.

We're still looking into what the possibility might be.

I apologize, folks, but we -- Representatives of the Game Master/In-Game Support Department and by extension Representatives of the Customer Service Forum -- will be unable to manually send you an e-mail containing your account's password. To be clear, we do not have access to your password and resetting your password will attempt to send the same e-mail to your registered e-mail address.

Our Technicians are still looking into this issue and hope to identify the cause as soon as possible; however, no ETA is available at this time. Should this issue persist until 8 AM PDT tomorrow morning, I highly recommend contacting our Billing and Account Services department by phone. A Representative of this department will likely be able to change your registered e-mail address for you should you choose to use an e-mail provider not currently blocking these e-mails.

Billing and Account Services
Live Representatives Available Mon-Fri, 8am to 8pm PDT
