Feedback Request - If you cannot renew

Ok folks, looks like more progress is being made on this, but we could use your help.

If you are experiencing the cannot renew issue because the website is either not progressing, or refusing your method of payment, our techs would find the following information most helpful.

1, At which point in the renewal does the error occur, is there even an error, does it just hang at some point?

2. Does it seem like it's going to process and just freeze?

3. A screenshot would also be helpful, really anything and everything that is known about the issue would be a big help.

4. What browser(s) are you using to access, and have you already tried clearing cache, cookie, old temp files or trying another?

Any information you can provide here is helpful folks, they are trying to pin this down as to exactly which process is having issues.

Thanks!

Q u o t e:

Do you mean renew accounts, as in subscription? or do you mean renew PCT? Or something else?

PCTs are a bit different.

This is for the players that are trying to renew their subscriptions mainly.

This is not neccessarily a renew problem but I feel it is related. I'm trying to transfer a character to a different realm and I get the error that the credit card is invalid. I have tried multiple cards and they all report back as invalid.

It doesn't freeze. Its immediate.

I'm using IE 7

Transfers are another issue really. It's the transfer service being down in that case. Something we are also working on.

Not yet Cin, but our techs have this thread and are checking for more feedback regularly.

Not heard a cause or resolution yet though.

We do appreciate all the feedback, it's very helpful to narrow this down.

I am posting this on a friends account as mine is frozen and i cant log into the website.
I tried to set up payment of my account using Visa, i put all the card details in and hit finish only for it to return an error stating that my Visa card could not be prossesed and i should contact billing.
I still have not recieved a response from them.
i have tried many times throughout the day and get the same error. Also i have noticed my bank account had $12 (AU) being withheld and after trying one more time it went to $14 (AU) so i wont be trying again till the issue is resolved.
BTW the Visa card i am trying to pay with is the same one i have used for 2yrs only the expiry is different.

Indeed, please keep checking back - and don't make any more attempts. All the has the potential of doing at the moment is stacking up pending charges. Money isn't really gone, and those will disappear, but it might put some of your funds on hold till the pendings remove.

Still looking into this guys, this info is great, keep it coming.

It seems that no more blues payng attention to people who simply try to RENEW their account ...

Tried both IE and Firefox, cleaning cache, cant get my 2 CC to work.

We are, Gartzz, we simply don't have an update as of yet. I'm seeing what I can find out.

I've been told that this issue is still being investigated as they are looking for the overall cause of the issue so it can be resolved.

Please continue to post what information you can, specifically the information asked for in the initial post:

I don't get what's left to post? Nobody trying to renew can through any means besides a few select lucky ones that got through. Are we gonna be told next that it's our isp or pc's fault?

That's the point of an investigation, Femmevamp, finding out what it isn't usually leads us to finding out what it is.

If this has not been resolved by morning you may want to contact our Billing Department during business hours, they may be able to manually process your request.
