My day starts at 5 am (give or take a snooze bar) every day. As I've said in the past, just because I might not be posting right away, doesn't mean I'm not at work.

So far today, I'm a lil grumpy and tired. Now, all you kids, get off my lawn!

5am? Good gods...

I think if I had to be up at that time every day I'd go mad, and probably make some crazed attempt to overthrow the world governments and establish my dominion over all mankind.

Who told you my nefarious plan?!!!!!!!! Now I have to reevaluate...

(It's when I wake up, not when I'm at work.)

yeah she probably works from home seeing how her account got hacked before.

I work in the office and my account was not hacked. That's a misnomer. While doing loads of moderation that one infamous day (which was well over a year and a half ago or so?) a couple of us managed to accidentally click on session mimics. They aren't keyloggers, but they do cause a mess and propagate more posts and links. I know some people take great glee from that, but it's not exactly accurate.

Seeing all the friendly responses from blues so far today, maybe they're feeling squirrly and would answer a question that pops in my head every once and a while:

What is a typical day like for you guys at work? Like today for example, whats a day at the office like for you guys?

It's hard to call any day "typical" given that every day has new tasks and possible issues that can arise. As you know, we work on a lot of messaging that we get out to the community. We do a lot of research. Do a lot of communication between various departments and ourselves. Work with fan sites. Keep an eye on various bits of information both internal and external, and work to sort through all of the above as a means to finding ways to improve or provide for the community.

We also gather questions and information for FAQs (of which sometimes what we do and other departments do all intersects.)

Of course you also see us on the forums, taking time to take part in the community as well. (Contrary to popular belief, we like it.)

Each of us has slightly different tasks so it's hard to say what's really typical for any one of us. And when time provides, we get in the game and play so we can keep an eye on what is going on there too.

We don't all start our days or end them at the same time. Shocking, I know. ;)
