Wow Account bans multiple IPS get a grip

I can understand that multiple ips on an account and account sharing is against the TOS. What I do not understand is that you are banning your long term customers who already have level 70s and you are doing it without warning.

You have banned every friend that I have on this game in the past 2 weeks. I expect that you will be banning more tomorrow.

Every person that you have banned, didn't receive so much as a warning. I thought these policies were to stop power levelling by companies making money.

As of the 28th of July, I will be cancelling my subscription permanently for WOW, awaiting the introduction of Warhammer.

I have WOW accounts, bought games for friends for christmas, upgraded to BC etc. I have spent in the past 2.5 to 3 years 500 bux on your fees.

Count them goodbye. If you value your loyal customers that little, then you don't deserve the business or the revenue.

Understand, that I am not leaving because you banned them, I am leaving because you failed to offer them any type of warning. They were not using powerlevelling services. They were just being kids and having fun.

Since the real draw to your game is over for me, which was my friends. I will no longer be participating.

I hope Warhammer provides better customer service in the future than you seem to be capable of.

People work on their characters for days. Played times are high for people with 3 years into this game.
One of my firends had a 70 and 2 60s. Do you take your customer into consideration, or is it only your pocketbook. Did you not get your fees?

You should be ashamed. And I'm sorry I gave you the money that I did. I wish I had never played this game. And I hope some of these people start class action lawsuits against you. Since it is now legal to sell accounts on ebay, because of their time and effort put into it, maybe something could be said for the time that people have spent that you ROBBED from them.

Remember blizz, what goes around comes around, and your comeuppance is deserved and on its way.

Playing from multiple locations is not a violation of our Terms of Use, Skylz, you may play from different locations many play as they travel, I would avoid bending time and space though that can cause some issues.

It doesn't matter if your character is level 1 or 70 or how long you have had your account, some violations warrant instant closure of the account. Please check out the link below for other examples of what may result in instant closure of an account.

These policies are meant to protect the integrity of the game.

I'm sorry to hear that, Skylz, I wonder if they'll have policies prohibiting exploitation, hacking, powerleveling, gold selling/buying, account sharing/trading/selling/gifting as well.

Just out of curiosity could you provide me the name and realm of some of these kids "having fun"? I would be very interested in taking a look.

I am sorry if you felt that no warning was provided as I said earlier certain offenses warrant instant closure for most others we try to provide a warning to the account. I should point out that we did provide a warning though; it is called the Terms of Use, everyone agrees to abide by it when they create an account and at every patch.

Yes, it does, I see a very bright future ahead.

Adelleye's account was not closed for having more then one IP or account sharing. I'm afraid it was much more invasive than that. He will want to contact our Account Administration Department if he wishes to have his case looked into further, but I will note that the action he was closed for does not warrant a warning at all.

Executioner's account is locked because of a billing issue and he'll need to contact our Billing Department to straighten it out, the account was not closed; an e-mail was sent to the registered address on that account explaining the reason behind this.

You can call 1 (800) 592 5499 (1-800-59-BLIZZARD) Monday through Friday 8AM-8PM (PST) for live representation.
Australian users should please call 1-800-041-378 if the standard 800 line does not work.

So for example if you were robbing a bank you would expect the police just to tell you that you shouldn't do that because it is against the law?

No. The laws are there and it is your duty to understand what is and what is not permitted in society.

In this game we have the Terms of Use which you must agree to abide by when you create an account and after downloading a patch. By violating those rules you run the risk of having the account closed.

In the human world we call that personal responsibility of course that is something some people don't understand and would rather blame their failings on others.

Your not the police no matter how much power you THINK you have in the game.

Where did I say we were the police, Skylz, that was an example.

I think you are missing the point of personal responsibility. *shrugs*

Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

The information you need to assist your friends has been provided and I provided no specific account information, Skylz.

It seems to me that you simply wish to be contrary and give yourself the sense of some kind of win.

So I will say again, I wish you well in where your future takes you, please have your friends contact the appropriate departments to inquire about their issues.

Not the only ones stamping our feet. Think its time to find an attorney to represent them. Class action suit time blizzard. Hope you have deep pockets. But then, we all know about how much money you rake in.

Not to burst your bubble, Skylz, I think everyone needs a cause that they can get behind and support, but I think we are sufficiently covered.

Blizzard’s Absolute Right to Suspend, Terminate and/or Delete the Account.
BLIZZARD MAY SUSPEND, TERMINATE, MODIFY, OR DELETE THE ACCOUNT AT ANY TIME WITH ANY REASON OR NO REASON, WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE. For purposes of explanation and not limitation, most account suspensions, terminations and/or deletions are the result of violations of this Terms of Use or the EULA.
