Class Set Feedback: Hunter

In this thread, we’re gathering focused feedback on the Hunter class set, coming in Eternity’s End.

Please note that initially in the PTR, class sets are a work in progress and will undergo substantial design changes in the near future. We’ll let you know the details of those changes as they are developed, both here in this thread and in our Development Notes thread.

Thank you all for finding and posting about these remaining bugs with the Survival Set bonus interactions. A fix has been made to all three of the issues in this post.

Hunters,

Thanks to everyone for providing a list of issues with videos or screenshots showing the problems. Things are being worked on. Some notes:

Marksmanship Hunters:

• The issue with the 4-piece bonus only working when spending >40 Focus and not >= 40 Focus should be resolved.
• The issue with Aimed Shot appearing available on your action bar but not actually being usable even though you have sufficient Focus should be resolved.
• The issue with Unblinking Vigil combined with the 4-piece bonus occasionally causing you to expend 70 Focus instead of 35 should be resolved.
• The above three bugs are still being reviewed and fixes are not on the PTR yet.

There are still outstanding issues that are being worked on:

• Unblinking Vigil legendary with Double Tap causing some loss of Unblinking Vigil buffs.
• Abilities with buffs that make them have a reduced Focus cost are inconsistently counting towards this bonus.
• The behind-the-scenes counting of Focus spent does not reset when out of combat.

Survival Hunters:

Several fixes for your tier set were pushed live to the PTR today I believe, check things out with Wildfire Bomb and the new Set Bonuses. There are still some outstanding things we want to look at:

• The 2-piece bonus where you do not incur a Cooldown on Wildfire Bomb may be granting an improper cooldown refund when using Guerilla Tactics.
• Issues with multiple people using Wildfire Bomb at the same target(s).

I was mistaken in my post yesterday, these changes are still under review by our QA team and are not on the PTR yet.

They will be resolved by the time the raid releases, but if they are applied to the PTR beforehand I will try to let you all know.
