Weather effects forgotten?

In 1.10.0 we got weather effects! Running Karazhan on occasion I get graced with rain every now and then in Deadwind Pass. The entire zone while it's raining makes for a pretty awesome looking effect.

I remember in Silithus/AQ20/AQ40 how awesome it was with the Sandstorms. Something about fighting and questing through that made it feel more epic. :0

But in Outland there's no weather :( Granted it's another world and it has a different ecology from Azeroth, but I'm saddened that there's nothing out there aside from the drizzle we get in Zangarmarsh. :(

What happened to the weather effects?

Definitely not forgotten. We do plan to add more in over time. When? Couldn't tell you. Just remember it was awhile before we got weather effects into Azeroth. We'll get there in other areas when we can.

I too, enjoy the rain in the zones.

LOL

I picture you wearing a yellow shirt with a black jagged stripe on it. :D

You too? I'm glad I'm not the only one. ;)

Just a hope here. With weather, can we have it rain in the capital cities if it's raining in the zone in which that city is located? It's kind of silly to ride thru a downpour in Elywnn that disappears the second you ride into Stormwind. (Naturally Iorn Forge and Undercity would be exempt.)

Can we have puddles?

And squirrel pets. (Real, not mechanical) ^_^

I understand what you're saying, but it just reminds me of when you can see sunshine in one area and rain in another. I've even been in rain like that where you could literally walk a foot or so and you'd be in the sunshine. Weather can be crazy as I'm sure we've all experienced.
