Is Major and Minor Glyphs backwards?

Major Glyphs
-- Seem to be some of the most useful glyphs (combat skills, etc)
-- Only 2 slots, one is locked until 80.
YET
-- Learned from the trainer
-- Cheap

Minor Glyphs
-- Seem to affect wimpier skills (Minor Lockpicking glyph reduces the time, for example)
-- All 3 slots are unlocked at 70.
YET
-- More difficult to create
-- Expensive

There's something here that just doesn't make logical sense to me. It seems to me like the two YET parts should be swapped.

Sorry if this has been discussed before... Just very unintuitive to me.

We are considering some changes to this, but overall there are fewer minor glyphs as we wanted to focus on getting classes/specs their majors so having fewer of them could be just one of the contributing factors in this.
