In beta it used to work if you were a ghost. Now it doesn't even work when it's supposed to. Weird.
It works now, it's just not quite so easy as the cheesy way it was as a ghost. ;)

No it still doesn't help when falling, however to this day I still shield when I'm falling out of pure habit. I wish it helped a little :)
Yep. It's habit. I have yet to break it either. I've been doing it too long and like to believe it helps.
