Question on Winter Veil Achievement

Okay one of the achievements is...

The Winter Veil Gourmet
During the Feast of Winter Veil, use your culinary expertise to produce a Gingerbread Cookie, Egg Nog and Hot Apple Cider .

I wanted to make sure, can you buy these and you complete it, or do you actually have to have cooking and be able to make the required objects? Thanks a ton in advance.

Yes, cooking will be required to complete this while the in-game event is running.

I randomly generated the random idea to force these cooking recipes to require cooking instead of randomly using a random drop.
