If I kill the horseman 5 times a day during every day of this event, I probably won't even SEE a squashling drop, let alone get one. The hallowed helm drop rate isn't much better sadly.

Please remove this along with the 20 mask achievement so there is a chance for those of us who work at it for us to get this title.

RNG shouldn't be the deciding factor for achievements, Sinister Call needs to be changed/removed from the meta achievement.

We have no plans to change this achievement or remove it from the meta achievement. The drop rates were adjusted from last year to be more forgiving, so third-party data concerning the drop rate isn't accurate. A Mask For All Occasions was far, far less likely to complete within Hallow's End than Sinister Calling; the latter is reasonable enough to remain within Hallowed Be Thy Name.

Is there any chance that the drop rate will be increased again? Currently it's simply awful.

I've reviewed the numbers and I respectfully disagree. The drop rate is where we want it to be, and it's better than last year. We won't be changing the drop rate this year.

Could it be changed to one *or* the other? That'd be more in line with the Brewfest mount achievement.

As I said, we discussed the achievement and we're not changing the way it functions at this time; that includes this option.

You might actually try playing the game instead of looking at a spreadsheet.

The odds that it might hit the ground are one thing, the odds that it'll hit the ground and I'll win it are another.

Achievements should be, you know, achievable.

I have every achievement in Hallow's End on my main character aside from Sinister Calling, That Sparkling Smile, and A Mask For All Occasions. I, too, am striving to achieve the meta achievement for world events. I feel rather obligated. ;)

So I am right there alongside you running the Headless Horseman trying to get the Hallowed Helm and the Sinister Squashling. I'm not simply looking at the data, crossing my arms, and saying "It's fine."

We've discussed the achievement, we play the game, and we've determined it's fine with the current drop rate.

Tch. If I'd said I'd achieved it already (which would be a lie) people would instead be stating I think it's fine based solely on my personal experience. ;) I've read the threads.

Lacking the achievement after the holiday's been active for two and a half days does not mean it requires fixing. Lacking the achievement after one year does not necessarily require fixing, either, depending on how common we want the achievement to be.
