These damn achievements are so addicting. I suddenly have all this interest in completing quests and different aspects of professions and raids/dungeons i couldnt have cared about and dont really need.

Most of these achievements dont even grant a title or reward and yet I am having a load of fun doing them, and feel ever so compelled to complete them all!

It's spreads like a yawn too, one person in your guild stars, you start seeing the achievements popping up in chat and then before you know it your on your way to some lowbe zone to kill a lvl 11 elite boss for a 10 point achievement just so your digital efforts can be measured in a way that you can say "look I did that, there is the proof"

I wonder how blizz came up with the idea, until i saw it in motion i thought it was silly and useless but now, again I just cant stop, its a worse addiction than smoking.

Anyway Blizz, i love and hate you all at the same time for that. Thank you for giving me something fresh to do thats fun and at least feels rewarding, at the same time, damn you for giving me something so addicting distracting me from the mindless gold and honor farming I should be doing in anticipation of wotlk and RL

PS More thanks than damn
