Do you help strangers in game?

Just a simple question for the masses. How helpful do you think you are in game. Was there a point in your gaming life where you did help but now find yourself ingoring everyone? Maybe you use to run some lowbie thru some dungeons only to now laugh at people that do?

I for one am not going to be very helpful, as I feel most people dont appreciate anything you do for them in this game. If your not on a friends list and you don't know me in RL your not getting my attention.

Be it profession help (chants/crafting) or just helping with some generic quest.

Whats the general feeling on being helpful in WoW.

Are you helpful
or
Are you NOT helpful

I tend to be very helpful. I admit it... I've given beggars money before. In my own defense, they look so weak and small, I can't help it!

I've stayed to help people finish quests. I've healed. I've helped them fight off enemies who jump them while they are fighting a mob. I've helped people do quests I'm not even on. I even.... heal in battlegrounds...

I believe in karma, and what goes around does come around. I've had people help me finish things as well and have had them jump in when I'm in over my head. It's what keeps things interesting.
