Blizzard is doing thier best to fix the srver issues, and it is NOT the forum police's fault. Yes, I call the blue posters the forum police. (FP)

Do you all understand just how hard it is to fix somethign this massive? I'm surprised they've gotten ti this well. As for the FP, there's nothing they can do about it so don't take this out on them.

So far I've heard that people are beggining to blame the FP on the server crashes. Blizzard is doing just about everything in thier power to bring the servers back up as well as stop the lag.

So jsut hang with it all until the patch issues blow over.

My realm is quite unplayable at the moment as well. I can assure everyone that our database administrators are closely monitoring realm performance, and are doing everything in their power to stabilize our realms. Unfortunately I'm unable to provide more specifics at the moment -- I'm not currently at work -- however, I have verified that realm stability is a top priority right now for those working tonight.

Can you tell me when we can have paid Xfers back online?

The top priority right now is to stabilize the realms. As paid character transfers and name changes add additional strain on our databases, they have been temporarily disabled. I am unable to provide a time frame for restoring them at this point.

Maybe just Maybe they should have did a full ptr run on the patch. I mean most of the large patches are on the PTR for quiet a while. This one seemed like it was thrown up on PTR then straight to live realms in no time at all.

When it comes to database stability and realm population influxes, there are sometimes unforeseen issues that arise and cannot necessarily be tested on the public test realms.
