**** Realm Issues - Multiple Battlegroups ***

Afternoon, folks.

We're aware that there are still issues affecting many realms, and we're currently working hard to resolve them. Rather than having multiple threads scattered across the forum, I ask that you post in this thread with the name of your realm, the name of your battlegroup if you know it, the name of the instance/battleground/arena, and what issues you're experiencing specifically.

Please refrain from other comments here, as this is intended to be a thread where we provide updates and gather information. If you'd like to request compensation, such determinations would be made only after things stabilize, and the Suggestions forum is the correct locale for those requests.

If you are attempting to enter an Arena or Battleground, please do the following while we look further into this issue:

It's been brought to our attention that many players are receiving the error message "Transfer Aborted: Instance Not Found" when attempting to enter Arenas and Battlegrounds.

As a workaround, many have noted that simply waiting 10 to 15 seconds before hitting "Enter Arena" or "Enter Battleground" will prevent the reception of this message. Although we are currently investigating this issue, we encourage you to follow this advice to ensure as much up-time as possible.

I've relayed much of this information to the appropriate parties and we are currently waiting for more information to be provided. We'll do what we can to get you guys updates as quickly as possible, but remember we need information before we're able to provide updates. With that being said, please do not ask for updates; as stated previously, we'll provide updates as soon as information becomes available.

As a small update, we are currently looking into stability issues affecting battlegroups Ruin, Vindication, and Stormstrike. A list of battlegroups and their corresponding realms may be found here:

As another update: In effort to assist with these issues, lateral services (PCTs and PCNCs, for example) may become temporarily unavailable.

The issues you're experiencing with retrieving your characters are related to the realm's overall stability, actually. :)

No ETA as of yet, everyone. Our Technicians and DBAs are still working diligently to have this addressed.

No updates as of yet. As soon I am provided one, I'll be certain to post it herein immediately.

With that said, PCTs and PCNCs will likely unavailable until these realm issues have passed.

As a recap: We are aware of and looking into issues with retrieving character lists on Ruin, as well as battleground, Arena, instance, and general play latency on Stormstrike, Vindication, Cyclone, and Nightfall.

Folks, if we had an ETA on a resolution, we would have provided it by now.

You have our sincerest apologies for any delays.

If a realm happens to be offline, that doesn't mean it was deleted, or that your characters are gone.

The realm is just offline.

Minor update:

We're currently aware of the issues being experienced across all realms; however, we're aware that the Battlegroups listed below are experiencing significant issues. Our technicians are working to resolve the issues, unfortunately, we do not have an ETA at this time.

Reckoning
Cyclone
Ruin
Vindication
Bloodlust
Vengeance
Stormstrike
Nightfall

Silver Hand is in the Bloodlust Battlegroup.

No battlegroups have been missed, nor are we saying by that list that they are the only ones with problems.

We are simply stating that those are the ones with the most significant issues at this point in time.

Individual realms may be experiencing issues, but I can assure you that we are aware of all of them.

When I said that I do not have an ETA and one would be provided when we have one, I meant that we would provide one when we had one, not before then.

You all have my apologies for any issues related to the seeming lack of communication related to the realm issues.

However, the information I have available at this time has not changed.

The status of the issue has not changed.

When it does, you will be informed.

The more time I have to spend moderating, the less time I have to spend speaking to those who might have additional information.

Another minor update:

We are aware of the following issues with the various affected realms:

Battleground and Instances not loading.
High amounts of latency.
Long loot times.
Realms not appearing on realm list.

There are other obvious symptoms related to these issues, and we're continually working to address all of them.

I've actually been sitting here staring at the realm list stuff waiting for it to come back up. >.<

I think you guys misinterpreted my "... ?" at the end.

I knew it was down. Just was more of a tentative answer to the "update please!".
