When I first started playing this game, many people warned me. "It will ruin your life. Don't play it unless you want to get fat. That game is like crack."

It's all true. The way this game is played, the endless adventure, the social opportunities, the progress in numbers, the drive for domination over everyone and everything else. However you play this game, or for whatever reason, it destroys lives. Now, I understand some people can play casually, others are forces to play casually, but I bet half of the WOW community is addicted to this game.

Now when I say addicted, I don't mean 12+ hours a day. You can play a couple hours a week, a couple hours a day, or play all day non-stop and can or cannot be addicted. Me personally, I'm addicted to the game. No matter what I do IRL I think about WOW. I didn't notice it untill I realized I do the same thing everyday. I get up and then Play WOW all day. I take minor breaks here and there, but it's ridiculous.

The thing is, alot of people don't realize they're addicted and/or are ruining their lives. Guys. In reality all you're doing is sitting at a chair for hours on end looking at a screen. Do you honestly want to spend your whole life sitting in a chair doing something that doesn't even exist? When it comes down to it, if your account got hacked, your computer breaks, or you uninstall WOW, you just wasted days upon days upon days. All that work for nothing. It's gone. It never was.

If you've started to feel "down in the dumps" lately I bet WOW has something to do with it. The less and less I played the better I felt. I'm quitting today, and I plan on doing something more productive with my time.

I hope the people who feel like this also speak up. Tell me your stories. Tell me what WOW has affected with you. Do you feel the same way? Has anyone else ever said this to you?

Oh, and for all the immature people who are going to repsond with "LOL DUDE it's a game, let people do what they want!". Dude !#%# you. It is a game. A game that ruins lives. It may not ruin yours, but if someone else wants to speak up let them.
