I have noticed that guilds here are limited in their ability to support the members within. One particular feature I liked on EQ was the fact that Guilds had a guild bank option where members of the guild could place tradeable items into it. I would like to see that feature here in Wow. The bank had the following options.
* Guild Assignable Roles: Guild leader or officers could place access rights to the banking options.
- General access: Can place items in the bank and withdraw items that are marked Free-to-all.
- Officer Access : Can take and place items as well as change their status level to free-to all or
to a specific person.
* Various levels of deposits: Can assign the object being placed to a specific member in the guild
or make it available to anyone, as said above. This will allow members of the guild to...
- promotes inner support with the trade skills. Can put raw materials for others to use
- Allows new members to get armor items or weapons to assist them in starting out
I feel by adding this option to Wow, Guilds will be more saught after because they will be just more then a group of friends. The guild will have a purpose and promote more inner guild activity, promote the use of trade skills, and open the door to new features later.
The guild bank would also open the idea to a new "Honor Point System" to where the Guild it's self could be ranked by prestige points baised on it's bank value, Raids completed, number of members, and the over all Honor or Dishonor points the members have aquired! This would allow a guild to want to work as a team and give all of us in the guild something to work for together as a group!
With this you could make zone areas and raids that have to have a guild prestige level of so many points to enter the area or raid...
But those are my two cents worth! I hope Blizzard likes the idea!!!
