Character Stuck - Blue Tracker

Well we just one AV, when I clicked leave battleground I was disconnected from the server and now can't log back in too that toon. I can login to my other toons on the server. I try to load my toon. I goes to the loading page, and the status bar reaches the end then it brings me back to character selection saying "disconnected from server" but again my other toons on the same server no problem.

Alright, your character should be set once more. It may be beneficial to avoid Ironforge temporarily, though; there may be something up with your realm that's affecting only that area. I'll check.

With that said, do you happen to know if you've any out-of-date AddOns? I know I was running a few last evening that were incompatible with this latest patch; the result was a plethora of LUA errors that caused my client to be bumped to desktop repeatedly and incredibly slow loading. This may not be the source, but it's always good to check. :)

Fryer, Malevola: Both of your characters should be accessible.

With that said, all characters should be "unstuck" within the next 10 minutes or so. If not, go ahead and open a petition so that our staff can move you as necessary.

Success oddly seems sporadic. For clarity, though, are you getting stuck at the loading screen (bar) or are you receiving an error message prior or during this process?

Roger that. While simply moving the character seemed successful previously for all realms, it now appears that on certain ones (those on Shadowburn and Rampage) this process is no longer proving a remedy.

Forwarding on this information to our Technicians for further review, as it may be related to larger stability concerns ongoing presently.

Stormstrike may be included in this bunch, too. Let me find an adequate litmus test to confirm. :)

Both you and Maladris are located on Garona, which happens to be a member of Rampage. At this time, it looks as though both battlegroups Rampage and Shadowburn are afflicted by more severe issues.

I'll continue to attempt to move your characters, but resolution may not be immediate. Just stay tuned. :)

Glenn, I tried locating you just outside of Shattrath, too, just in case the continent of Eastern Kingdoms was troublesome (which may or may not be the case).

And, PSA: Please do not use portals! Do not use your Hearthstone, Scrolls, boats, or zeppelins either. Doing so will cause your character to be stuck (or re-stuck, as it were). :)

It's related to zoning cross-continent or using a transport device (boats, zeppelins, trams) to accomplish the same task. :)

One more quick note: If I or another Game Master are able to successfully "unstick" your character, please do not use any portals, boats, trams, Scrolls of Teleportation, or otherwise. This will only render your character stuck once more.

I understand limiting yourself to one small area or another is incredibly inconvenient, but it will ensure that your character remains playable. Thanks. :)

We're working on a resolution presently, but if you do not wish for your characters to become stuck, then it's best to restrict your game play to one zone.

Again, I know this inconvenient, but it's the best course of action to keep your characters playable.
