Prairie/Westfall Chicken, Mechanical Chicken

This is not a thread about the missing mounts/pets issue many are having, this is different.

I used to have a Prairie Chicken from the Cluck! quest, as well as a Mechanical Chicken from the An OOX of your own quest. I had my account hacked a while back and lost these pets, as well as several others. I was excited to hear I could recover these pets from Stable Masters in the new patch, so that was one of the first things I did when I logged on. I was able to recover my Sprite Darter Hatchling and my Worg Pup, both of which were also obtained through questing, but the missing chickens were not available. Anyone know anything about this? Are those quests repeatable? I know I can get the Prairie Chicken by having someone else do the quest and loot the egg, but I'd rather just recover it or do the quest again if it is possible.
