"Cannot auction an item with used charges"

Yesterday, I put up my Parrot Cage [Hyacinth Macaw] on the AH and had no problems with it. After today's patch, however, I got a message saying "You cannot auction an item with used charges" when I tried to put it up on the AH again. I tried turning off all my addons but that didn't solve anything. I'm certain I didn't "learn" it yet as it is still in my inventory. I can even trade it between my characters. Is this a bug or am I out of luck?

If you learned this pet, you'll never be able to sell it or trade it. That should have disappeared when you learned it - some aren't....that's one issue.

We are also getting reports of pretty much the same situation - but where the pet had NOT been learned.

I am very sorry for this inconvenience - this is something they are aware of and are looking into right now.

Aye, this does sound like the second case.

Hopefully we'll get an answer back on the status of this in the near future.

This is still on the list folks.

It's not only pets, there are a few other items being affected as well.

If this is a case say, of a pet for sale - that you never memorized, please put in a petition and a Game Master will be happy to look into what we can do.

We are experiencing an extremely high call volume at the moment, so it may be awhile before you receive a response. Please be sure to note the exact name of the item/pet as well as the fact that it has never been used, but came back unable to be listed on the AH. Sufficient information is very important when queues are as long as they are at the moment, we want to be able to assist you even if you are not online at the time your petition is answered.

maybe its still on the list for hotfixes

You need to have any item like this replaced by a Game Master via petition, Zebraji.

I can understand bumping an old thread if you're experiencing similar difficulties. I can also understand creating an all new thread. Not quite sure about doing both at the same time, though.
