Ongoing Realm Issues - Patch 3.0.2

Good afternoon, ladies and liches—

We are presently examining issues affecting the stability of numerous realms within multiple battlegroups. The effects of these issues span from "stuck" characters to complete "World Server is Down" messages.

Please know that this remains a high priority for our Game Masters, Technicians, and Database Administrators. As further information is made available, it will be provided herein.

Update:

We will be performing rolling restarts on all US realms at 5:00 a.m. PDT to further address realm stability issues. We expect each realm will be down for no more than 15 minutes, with the overall process lasting approximately one hour. Thank you for your patience.

As a non-update: There is no ETA as of yet, but our Technicians and DBAs continue to work towards resolution.

It appears that issues on both Ruin and Vindication have, for the most part, cleared. We are currently examining those issues you've reported on battlegroups Whirlwind and Emberstorm.

If your character is stuck, Axee, you're absolutely welcome to submit an in-game petition requesting a move to a more accessible location. Just be sure to include the name and realm of the target character, as well as listing the category as "Stuck."

This isn't a stuck character thread folks, if you have a character that is stuck please submit an in-game petition with the name of the stuck character and the word "Stuck" in the ticket.

We will provide updates on the realm issues as soon as we receive word.

Folks, we're currently investigating and addressing any realm issues.
