Gladiator and Nether Drake Rewards - Update

We've been able to identify and develop a solution to the issue of some teams receiving the incorrect end-of-season Arena rewards. We're going to be resolving this by performing a two hour maintenance tonight, beginning at 5:00 AM PDT, June 22, and lasting until approximately 7:00 AM PDT.

During this maintenance all of the end-of-season rewards will be resent to the correct teams and players. By resending the rewards players who already have an Armored Nether Drake will simply receive duplicates. As these are unique items the new mail messages can only be deleted. The Arena titles will also be applied again, and players will have the correct title available to them after the maintenance.

We appreciate everyone's patience in awaiting this resolution, and apologize for any inconvenience or frustration that it may have caused.

To recap the issue: after the maintenance, patch release, and end of season 1, it became apparent that not all teams that were intended to receive their Gladiator title and Armored Nether Drake did in fact receive them. Instead the rewards seemed to be sent to some teams while others only received lower ranking titles. At this time it only appears to have affected select realms. Since then we’ve been able to determine that the issue was specifically an error in rewarding teams appropriately. We’re currently in the process of testing a fix, using data recorded from when the realms were brought down for maintenance to determine if this fix will correct the issue. We're waiting for the fix to be tested before discussing how the issue will be resolved as we simply don't know what the best available course of action we can take is until we have a working solution.

Teams that were on the Cataclysm battlegroup before it was merged into Retaliation do not appear to have correctly received their end-of-season rewards due to the realms being physically moved in the merger. We're currently in the process of investigating the best course of action to resolve this.

According to the captured data tam "hi" was 2 ranks short of being in the top .5%. Keep in mind that the Armory data doesn't appear to be updated correctly at this time, we will be posting the teams that did in fact make the cut though which should clear up any confusion regarding final placement.

As the number of players from Cataclysm who did not properly receive their rewards was extremely small we will be sending the Armored Nether Drakes by hand today, and the titles will be awarded with the next maintenance.

I requested more info for Tab and Rigger, so I should have that in a bit. For any further questions on placement it will be posted with the actual season 1 standings which will be up on the website soon.

"deadsies" on Auchindoun 0.52% did not achieve the necessary 0.5%

"Yellowfish" on Blood Furnace should have Armored Nether Drakes in your mailbox.

"WERE ALL CLOTHIES" on Azshara 0.54% did not achieve the necessary 0.5%

Character Darind on The Underbog wasn’t a member of “The Three Musketeers” at the end of the season and therefore was not eligible.

We've done some sanity checks throughout the thread and posted those results; however, we are not going to follow up on each claim here in a case by case basis. We will be posting the final standings where you will be able to see if your team made the cutoff or not.

You will need to contact in-game support for any assistance in verifying an issue where you were removed from the team accidentally.

This is a sticky thread, bumping does nothing except maybe annoy me a little.

After checking with a GM you appear to have been purposefully removed from the team by the team leader, and then informed that you were purposefully removed from the team by another member. Unfortunately since you were not a member of the team at the end of the season you won't be receiving the rewards associated with the team.
