I've been looking for this answer on various sites, and can only find a list of achievements with the requirements.. and no link to tell what the points can be used for.

Achievement points are simply meant to show how far a character has progressed in the achievement system. No more, no less.

Back when I was a kid, all video games had "points". We didn't get to "exchange" or "redeem" our points. We earned them, and they just sat there, doing nothing. Our points meant nothing, and we liked it!
Sometimes we could flip our points over, and then we'd just be at 0 again. So it was like starting over, only it was higher than 0 really...
