I logged in a really bad spot...

So I am looking at the new log in screen and it just occurred to me. Right where Deathwing's left claw is crushing that tower, yeah, I logged right on the top of that tower.

Can I petition if I am dead already when I log in?

I'm quite sure you'll be fine. Emergency crews have been hard at work making sure everyone was evacuated from any areas of extreme danger.
