JC made obsolete by Inscription?

I'm just wondering, will inscription really render JC obsolete, as I'm seeing a TON of people moving to drop their 375 JC to pick up Inscription. I thought if any profession really overlapped with inscription it would be enchanting. My main is almost to 375 JC and it has been very expensive to level, I really don't want to get there and realize it was pointless. Thoughts?
