How, and how long does it take to become MVP?

I'm interested in becoming a MVP, you know, those posters with the green text.

I am willing to do anything it takes to become one, so please, give me some tips current MVP's!

I am willing to dedicate myself to the forum to help answer questions, and write helpful guides.

I am going to college next year for business, and I'd like to be a part of Blizzard's Business Intelligence team when I graduate. I think being a 'MVP' would not only add another helpful person to the community, but be a great thing on my application.

There's no particular method for becoming a MVP other than being a good poster. If you catch our gaze by proving yourself to be a reasonable, well-spoken, knowledgeable, and active member of the community we might consider you for our program.
