It seems I broke the last OT, so as far as I know, I'm supposed to make a new one.

For the moment. I happened to watch the corresponding The Simpsons episode last night, so it's fresh in my mind. >:)

Hiya critters.

It appears that I've become a victim of the influenza virus. I'm still here for your reading pleasure though.

How is everyone?

No flue shots for kittens?

Can you really envision me in a vet's office, crouched on one of those horrible, cold metal tables?

Truth is the bug got me before the shots became available 'round here =(.

My wee kitten (alright, she's 4 years old, but she's still the "baby" of the family) enjoys propping cardboard boxes on their side, pushing the bottom edge flush up against a nearby wall, crawling inside, and then using her wee kitten paws to close the flaps behind her. She then waits, sometimes for hours, until my helpless dachshund walks by, at which point she springs out from behind the flaps and tackles her newfound adversary.

Sometimes she closes the flaps too tightly or aims her pounce incorrectly and only ends up tipping the box over. This is typically followed by a "thud," a tiny tickle of her collar bell, and then a small squeak. Oh, and about 15 minutes of box-scooting while she figures out how to escape now that the flaps are against the floor.

/sigh

Hi Ed!!

Oh I just get excited about Tropicana because they're the closest to fresh squeezed that I have been able to find bottled up and sold in a store. All of their juices are really close to fresh squeezed.

Limeade, imo.
