Unlinking RAF accounts causes problems?

Has anybody successfully unlinked an account and have everything work properly?

Long story short, I didn't expect to pickup a 3rd copy of the game but I got it for dirt cheap so now I'm setup like this:

Account A contains level 61 warlock (going to use him for powerleveling)
Account B is empty

Account A and B are linked.

I now have an extra cd-key for another account so I'd like to unlink A and B and then link accounts B and C (C isn't created yet).

I've been told that I can call Accounts and Billing and they can unlink the A and B accounts but I've also heard of people having problems with this once A, B, and C all group together... (eg. only account C will get triple experience instead of both B and C).

It may take some time for benefits to be removed from the account, but I am aware of no further issues. With that being said, you are ineligible for experience bonuses when you are grouped with a character more that makes the encounter trivial. While a known issue may be awarding experience in these situations inappropriately, it is just that: a known issue. Removing the link between these accounts is permanent, but this issue is not quite as permanent.

Please weigh the advantages and disadvantages of breaking the link carefully.

The following was taken from our Recruit-a-Friend Ultimate FAQ sticky:

Q u o t e:
Let's say we have Account A with a level 70 character, Account B with a level 1 character and Account C with another level 1 character, all three characters are grouped. Account B and Account C are linked, will they receive triple experience?

A: Bonus experience should only be granted if the experience is not trivial to anyone in the group. Our Quality Assurance Team is looking into reports that some of these restrictions are not consistent and hope to resolve the issue soon.
