I can't believe I hadn't heard of this until just now, but apparently the content patch coming out soon is called "Echoes of Doom". Was this stated somewhere else before now? Besides, I thought we were gearing up for WotLK, not "Echoes of Doom". On the other hand, Echoes of Doom is a lot more fun to say than WotLK....

Indeed, but shouldn't it come later after some sort of doom actually happened since it's an echo? I.E. the happenings of the Wrathgate Cinematic.

Also, Que GIR singing the Doom song.

I guess it all depends on how far reaching the echo is and where it starts from now doesn't it? ;)

Speaking of echoes, for those that for some reason have never done this, might I suggest listening to some echoes in the ruins of Lordaeron and leading up to the throne room? It's rather stirring.

Something some people may not realize, but there is also a little blood stain on the ground from where the kings crown rolled away in the WC3 cinematic.

Haven't looked recently, but i assume it's still there.

The evidence of that betrayal is still there. Yes.

I have a feeling these echoes will cause the foundations of cities to shudder.

Walls will fall, cities will be razed! The countless armies of the dead soon march upon you! Follow your herald of doom! Follow it to the king.

*Blinks*

...what just happened?

It'll be alright. The pounding in your head will fade if you just rest a bit.

You READY! FUN FACT TIME!!!!

There is only 1 sound in the world that will not echo. If a Duck is in a cave and quacks the sound never bounces back as normal sounds would.

As Far as I know science has no actual reason for this.

Fun Facts is over for this week.

Legal Disclaimer: If this does infact cause harm to the Duck Population, I am not to be held responsible.

Wow. Now I suddenly have the urge to take a duck to a cave and see what happens...

The fun 'fact' about our feathery friends is a fallacy.
