Hi there

i had a issue with this in game function today i talked to a gm and he said i should post here.

so here is the go

i invited a mate to play we lvled had fun then both hit 60 and and then no longer got the extra xp.
then he invited his mate to play with him there both lvl 22 and asked form some help today so i thought sure why not.

but after i joint there group my mate no longer got his triple xp even tho he is linked to his mates account who is of the same lvl but his mate still got the xp

Me on my lvl 50 > my mate on his 22 > his mate on his 22

this is how the accounts are linked now i read the T&C about this but no were dose it say that he would not get xp as the reality is he is still in a group with his mate that's linked to his and they are within 4 lvls of each other me being in there group should of had no effect on him not gaining the xp but his friend still getting it.

I am looking for a proper answer as the gm i talked to seemed like he was trying not to answer the question

cos imo me being in there group should not cancel out the xp gain...

please let me know if you need further info or anything im just looking for a good answer of a resolution to this

thanks

Based off the information you provided, this is the likely scenario:

As you are linked to your friend—and partied with his character, as well—your friend would not qualify for triple experience, as the quests and mobs being completed and killed are marked "Low Level" in difficulty for your level 50 character.

Q u o t e:
Do I always gain triple experience while I am linked to my recruit?

No. In order to receive triple experience, you must be partied with a character on a linked account. With this, both characters (veteran and recruit) must be present for each kill and quest completion.

Also, should monsters or quests be marked as “Low Level” for either character, triple experience will not apply.

Your friend's friend, however, still qualifies, as his link is only with your friend's character, of whom he is within 4 levels. With this, the quests and mobs being completed and killed are likely orange, yellow, or green in difficulty, too, so triple experience rules would apply.

I'll have this confirmed, though, and investigated if not intended. Thank you for your report, Helples. :)

The example provided, Tandaa, describes only a situation wherein accounts B and C are linked, with account A as an outlier. In this case, though, A and B are linked, too, making the pitch a slight curve ball. :)

Completely understandable. Particularly given that the example states that "[b]onus experience should only be granted if the experience is not trivial to anyone in the group."

This specific situation could use a bit more clarification from on high, though. Definitely. :)
