I am posting this in a respectfull way and not posting rubbish, I am just tihnking if YOU, other paying customers think this is fair.

Today, I was sitting in Shat on my Pally when someone asked for a Battlecast Pants to be crafted, I tell him I can make them and will do them for mats + 200g for the Nether. he gives me the mats and as I am running to buy the Nether from the Heroic Badge dude, my net goes out - got 5hours. Yes, this looks weird and yes I do think Blizzard took the right action in banning me for "scamming" althought I wasn't trying to. This shows they are taking care of their customers.

The reason I am posting this, is because they gave me a 72hour suspension! I think a 3hr or 24hr suspension is fair as I wasn't really triyng to scam someone but it looked weird as my net went out and caused me to appear to log off. I have sent Blizzard an email replying to my notification so I am hoping they get back to me ASAP and will let me back on.

I have 2 questions; 1) How long will it take them to contact me back? Has anyone has this problem before?

and 2) Do you think it was fair for them to give me a 3day suspension and not a 3hr/24hr suspension?

Thanks.

Toaste-

1) They reply to emails in order received.

2) You will have to dispute the account actions with Account Administration.

It all depends on your account history, if you've had warnings and such. Here's the Penalty Volcano:

Since I am not familiar with your account history, I am unable to form a personal opinion on the matter. Good luck, though.

Any GM able to answer my question and/or get this looked into?

Thanks in advance.

Can you offer the name and realm of a character on the affected account? :)

Sure, Bubbleoseven on Blackhand.

I'm curious, Toaste -- if this was merely a grave misunderstanding, can you perhaps explain how it is that your paladin not only doesn't possess the ability to create the Battlecast Pants, but in fact hasn't learned Tailoring at all? That seems particularly odd to me, given the circumstances, especially since you claim that you were unexpectedly disconnected while on your way to purchase the Primal Nether (a Bind-on-Pickup item) needed to create the pants. Could you possibly be... misremembering the situation as you've described it? I eagerly anticipate your clarification. :)

Yep. I have 2 accounts and 2 computers. I logged onto my Paladin first, where I msg'd this person looking for a crafter. My other account with the Tailoring, was sitting at the person who sells the nether with the pattern and Nether. I was running to him on my Paladin to switch the mats over but since the mats were on that charecter when the power went out - that account got banned and that is my clarification.

I show no other accounts that share a real name or e-mail address with the suspended account. Can you offer the name of your character you claim was going to create the Battlecast Pants for the player with whom you made the agreement? I'm more than happy to look into it further. :)

Oh, dear, how silly I must look for seemingly talking to myself. C'est la vie, I suppose. :)
